PASA today announces Louise Chalkley of Cosan Consulting, part of Intellica Group, as the new Chair of its Standards Committee.
Louise succeeds Donna Mcguire of SAUL, who has chaired the Committee for many years and played a central role in shaping PASA’s Standards and Accreditation framework and wider work to support excellence in pensions administration. PASA thanks Donna for her long-standing commitment, leadership and significant contribution to the Committee’s work.
The Standards Committee is one of PASA’s key governance groups. It oversees the development, maintenance and application of PASA’s Standards and supports the PASA Accreditation process. Its work is particularly important as the industry faces increasing regulatory, operational and member-outcome expectations and as accreditation becomes an increasingly valuable way for organisations to demonstrate the quality, resilience and effectiveness of their administration services.
Louise brings extensive pensions administration experience and a strong understanding of the standards and behaviours needed to deliver consistently good outcomes for schemes and members.
Louise said: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Chair of PASA’s Standards Committee. PASA’s Standards and Accreditation framework have an important role to play in helping the industry evidence good practice, drive continuous improvement and build confidence in administration delivery. I’m looking forward to working with the Committee to ensure our Standards continue to reflect the realities of modern pensions administration and support the outcomes members rightly expect.”
David Fairs, PASA Chair, said: “Donna has given many years of dedicated service to PASA and to the Standards Committee, and we’re extremely grateful for her leadership, expertise and commitment. The Committee’s work sits at the heart of PASA’s purpose. Strong, practical standards are essential if we’re to improve administration quality across the industry, and accreditation provides an important mechanism for recognising organisations which can evidence those Standards in practice. We’re very pleased to welcome Louise as the new Chair and look forward to working with her as this important area of PASA’s work continues to develop.”
