Jonathan is a Partner in the Pensions Department at Baker McKenzie. He advises companies and trustees in a variety of sectors on the legal aspects of operating pension schemes including: establishing and amending pension schemes, drafting scheme documentation, investments, equalisation, advising on corporate transactions, tax issues, discrimination legislation and scheme wind-ups. Jonathan has particular experience of outsourcing transactions, pension mergers and investment issues. He has also been involved in resolving scheme members’ complaints and Pensions Ombudsman disputes.
Jonathan has written numerous articles for pension publications (such as Pensions World, Pensions Age, PLC), and has spoken on various courses for the Association of Pension Lawyers and other bodies.
