Jayne has almost 34 years’ experience in public sector pensions; starting her career on Teesside before undertaking a variety of roles in both the public and private sector, including creating and managing Capita Hartshead’s Strategic LGPS Consultancy Team and taking on the role of Technical & Compliance Lead for the NHS Pension Scheme.
During her time at the NHS Jayne was responsible for transforming the technical division into modern compliance and technical teams to address the requirements brought about by the Public Service Pensions Act 2013.
Jayne moved to the Local Government Association in 2015 and to date has led on the ending of contracting out with HMT on behalf of public service pension schemes, GMP equalisation and the implementation of pension dashboards.
Professionally, Jayne was also an external verifier for the Pensions Management Institute in respect of their public sector qualifications.
