Dean has been Head of Strategy & Insight at the Universities Superannuation Scheme since 2018. Prior to this, he had a varied career as an economist and policy official across Whitehall, where he held a number of pensions roles, including more recently being responsible for DWP’s pensions stakeholder engagement and policy steward for NEST.
