Emma joined the Group in 2015 to help set up the Bulk Annuities proposition in Scottish Widows. Her role has expanded over the last 6 years, with her most recently taking on the role of Managing Director for Retirement and Longstanding in January 2021, where she has responsibility for the retirement journey, individual and bulk annuities and supporting loan investments, and longstanding propositions. Prior to joining, Emma was a partner at LCP, specialising in helping trustees and companies manage defined benefit pension scheme risk using insurance solutions.
Having completed a degree in Microbiology she transferred from the scientific technology industry to pensions administration with the Prudential in 1997. With over 22 years’ experience in the field and having held a number of senior positions at several other insurance companies, Emma brings wide practical experience across UK pensions.
