Sue Tye

Sue has over 20 years’ experience advising trustees and employers on the full range of pensions issues including scheme mergers, GMP equalisation, risk and cost management, dispute resolution, contracts of employment and third party administration contracts. She also has a keen interest in trustee and employer training and regularly presents topical pensions training sessions for both Baker McKenzie and wider industry audiences, including the PLSA and the PMI. Sue is a core member of the Baker McKenzie Global Pensions Group.

Sue is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.

Sue joined Baker McKenzie in September 2000, having previously been a partner in the pensions department at Biddle (solicitors). Before qualifying she worked for five years as a pensions technician and consultant at a national employee benefits consultancy. Sue is the Department’s Pro-bono Co-ordinator and acted as an TPAS adviser for a number of years.
