Terms & Conditions

These are our general terms and conditions.

Getting to know us

There isn't anything in our terms and conditions that you wouldn't expect to find, or that isn't good common sense. But please take a few moments to glance over them and check you're happy with them.

We are The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA), registered company (England) number 06597097, a Community Interest Company. But we call ourselves "we" or "us" and everyone else calls us "PASA".

Our home and registered office is 17A Frederick Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, West Midlands, B15 1JN.

We have a few sensible disclaimer points:

It's obvious, but we need to state that we reserve the right to remove anything inappropriate from PASA-UK.com – there is no content that is posted expressing member views therefore there is no moderation of content other than a professional and robust peer review mechanism, as would be expected from a professional organisation.

We hope you make full use PASA-UK.com. But despite our best efforts to serve up the highest quality of content, it is impossible to ensure that information we publish is 100% accurate and up to date and we obviously cannot accept any liability if anything is wrong, or if you unfortunately incur any loss of money, opportunity or reputation caused by using our content.

We will, however, be happy to help resolve any issues in any way we can, just as we're here to support you when things are going well.

Similarly, there are some external links to useful sites on PASA-UK.com, however we do not accept responsibility for these sites or their content – but please let us know immediately info@pasa-uk.com if there is any issue with these links or their content and we will remove the links asap. Please remember to check the privacy policies and terms and conditions of use of any third party website as these will not be the same as for this site.

And whilst we maintain vigilance and up-to-date security, we cannot guarantee that viruses or other intrusions will not happen, or that the site will be online and working perfectly 100% of the time. If anything does break, please flag it up and bear with us whilst we fix it. We will try to schedule routine maintenance outside peak working hours and alert you to such maintenance on the website.

Intellectual property and copyright

After all the work we've put in, we retain the copyright to any material on this site – including the text, graphics, code, design and software. If you wish to use any of this, please ask us first – although you're welcome to download or print a single copy of anything for your own non-commercial use. Members are asked to use the content of this website for the purposes for which it is intended, and only within their own organisation. Premium content is not available to non-members and we would request that premium content is not distributed to non-members.

Usernames and passwords

When you join the PASA, you will be given usernames and passwords for all registered members of your team and be able to use these to access our exclusive member-only content and pages. Your password is yours alone – please keep it safe and do not let anyone else use your account.

Remember: that PASA is a members' association and your PASA profile is your professional reputation to build up and enjoy. Don't let anyone else take it for a joyride.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you User Name and Password are protected and not given to or used by any other party. Any liability arising for the misuse of your User Name and Password remains your responsibility.

Please let us know immediately if you think someone else has used your account or got hold of your password.

We hope you benefit hugely from your membership of the PASA and use of PASA-UK.com. If you have any suggestions about how we can improve our facilitation and promotion of the industry, or would like to contribute more fully, please get in touch – we welcome your involvement to make our community richer for all.
