Press Release - PASA announces Pensions Dashboard Working Group members

PASA has announced the members of its Pensions Dashboard Working Group.  The group will work closely with The Pensions Regulator on the setting of minimum data standards (“Dashboard Ready”), which should be attainable by all schemes and how these are promoted and monitored and will look at the costs and benefits of dashboard for pension schemes.  It will liaise with the HM Treasury Dashboard Steering Group and the Project Group to ensure everyone is joined up.  Read the full press release below. read more...

The PASA GMP Working Group is recruiting new members

Our GMP Working Group was set up in Summer 2015, with an objective to identify, agree and implement a set of industry standards and guidance that will allow HMRC and scheme administrators to effectively complete GMP and Scheme Reconciliation Service (SRS) reconciliations in response to the cessation of contracting out in 2016. The Group has been extremely successful and is made up of individuals with expertise in public and private sector administration, legislative understanding and willingness to take on the big issues many schemes are struggling with. read more...

National Scams Awareness Month 2016 - TPR Scorpion campaign

You may already be aware that July is National Scams Awareness Month - a joint initiative run by Citizens Advice and Trading Standards designed to raise public awareness of a range of common scams, including pensions and investment scams.   The Pensions Regulator has published a statement on its website to show its support of this initiative. TPR and DWP recommend PASA Accreditation in key papers

The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA), the independent body dedicated to driving up standards in pensions administration, today welcomed the inclusion of their Accreditation scheme in two of the industry’s key papers this year.  In their recent Command Paper, the DWP recommended, that schemes and administrators ‘take advantage of this programme’.  This follows TPR’s inclusion in their thematic record-keeping review of a recommendation to administrators to attain quality accreditation from an independent body, highlighting PASA. read more...

Royal Mail and Ensign first to receive PASA Accreditation
