Michelle has worked in Administration Strategy for the BT Pension Scheme for 6 years.
During her time at the Scheme, Michelle has managed BAU and one-off projects, initially with an outsourced administrator and subsequently with an in-house team. Her involvement across the pensions administration practice has provided her with significant insight into the priorities and issues for administrators, trustees and members throughout the member lifecycle.
Michelle has managed several key projects for the Scheme including benefit assurance reviews, data audits and cleansing, implementation of the administrative requirements of the Scheme’s £16bn longevity swap and aspects of the transition to a new administration platform. Michelle has also recently acted as project director on a key project to transition the Scheme’s AVC benefits to a new provider.
Michelle previously worked in pensions consultancy at Deloitte, focussing on M&A, corporate advisory, audit and expert witness projects. Michelle is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
