Stephen joined the industry in 1997, starting his career with Legal & General and Barclays Life. He moved to boutique IFAs in Kingston, and later the West End, working as a Wealth Manager for several years whilst gaining industry qualifications.
Stephen joined Alexander Forbes in 2005 where he established their desk-based consultancy team, pension transfer business, working closely with pension scheme members, and later moving to strategic development of their DC pension proposition.
On acquisition by JLT, Stephen at various times managed Client Relationship Management teams, set-up and managed the Financial Education team and headed-up the development of their DC Group Pension proposition. With the purchase of JLT by Mercer, Stephen moved into a full propositional and strategic role, taking over as Head of Proposition in 2021, responsible for Mercer Workplace Savings, including the Mercer Master Trust.
