Member survey
We have introduced a national survey to collect the views of members of work-based pension schemes. The member survey is:
- Designed to give a benchmark of the views of members on the service they receive from pensions administration service providers, whether in-house or outsourced, trust or contract based
- Free to use and available to everyone
- Quick and easy to use - the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete online
- Totally confidential - nothing members say can be attributed and no schemes will be identified publicly
- Independent and unbiased
It is our aim that this survey will become the benchmark by which we can measure progress within the industry. Providers will be able to measure their success in service delivery.
Providers and schemes have to be registered to participate in the survey, which runs continuously. Members do not need to register and are free to complete the survey at any time by clicking the link below.
The results are analysed at least twice a year (more frequently if the number of submissions allows). A sample report is available here.
The results of the survey are published on a national basis and used to update the GSAS in line with members' expectations. It is not our intention to create league tables, although participating providers will be able to access their own general results and compare them with the national average.
All providers can help by encouraging members to complete a questionnaire.
